1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and purchasing products from Jacobsen Rare Plants, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Product Availability

Because many of our plants are one-of-a-kind, inventory is limited and availability is subject to change without notice.  We will update all available items on the site as soon as we are able.  Please feel free to reach out if there is something you would like us keep an eye out for as we visit wholesalers. 

3. Live Plant Disclaimer

Live plants are natural products. Size, coloration, leaf shape, and variegation may vary. Minor cosmetic imperfections may occur and are not considered defects.

1. Blooms - we will do everything in our power to preserve intact blooms on the plant. We are not responsible for detached blooms upon arrival.  

4. Shipping Policy

  • Shipping Monday through Friday
  • USPS Ground Advantage is the service by default 
  • Weather delays may cause delivery issues. 
  • Heat packs & cold packs available for an extra charge and may cause shipping delays
  • Contact us to discuss upgraded shipping services

5. Live Arrival Guarantee

We want every plant to arrive healthy and ready to thrive. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If there's a problem, contact us within 24 hours with photos so we can work toward a fair solution.  

6. Returns

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we generally do not accept returns once plants have been delivered, except where required by law or when covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee.  

7. Pricing Errors

We reserve the right to cancel orders resulting from pricing errors or inventory discrepancies.

8. Intellectual Property

      All intellectual property of Johnson & Roe Mercantile are the property of Johnson &               Roe Mercantile.  All property equal to, but not limited to, the items below are covered and may not be copied or used without our permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

This limits responsibility for issues beyond your control, such as shipping delays or circumstances covered by applicable law.

Seller is not responsible for the actions of the US Postal Service.  If you would like to purchase additional insurance for your purchase, please contact the seller. 

10. Plant Care Disclaimer

Once a plant is delivered, its long-term health depends on the environment and care it receives. We cannot guarantee performance after delivery due to factors outside our control, including lighting, watering, humidity, temperature, pests, and general care.
